The EOS R6 Mark II is chosen for moving situations rather than for maximum resolution: up to 40 frames per second electronically, in-body stabilisation worth up to eight stops, and two card slots.
Carrying both the 28-70 and the 24-70 is a choice, not a duplicate. The RF 28-70mm f/2 lets in a full stop more light than an ordinary f/2.8 zoom, and is what you fit when the lights go down. The RF 24-70mm f/2.8 is lighter, goes wider and is stabilised — the one that stays on the body most of the day. The RF 70-200mm reaches the lectern and the awards from where the audience sits.
A V90 card and a spare LP-E6NH are included, so memory and power are settled before you leave.
